A persons integrity and character says everything about their relationship with God. "The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good" (Prov. 15:3). When my kids were little I would tell them, "Mom sees and knows everything and everything you do is a representation of God and our family." Over the years, it rang true and the kids believed I had eyes in the back of my head; they were known as my, "Holy Spirit eyes." As our kids grew older and still to this day, they will hear, "Remember who you are (in Christ) and who you belong to (God), everything you do is a representation of God and our family." To this day, I find comfort praying this verse over my kids: Lord, your eyes are always watching and the Spirit of truth will always reveal truth to our hearts. I put my trust in your eyes to watch over what I cannot see, to reveal that which I need to know and give wisdom to that which I do not understand.
