I have in front me now a press release from you. Chairman CPP-TCC: If it has my address and contact details and its about the recent robbery and killings within the constituency, then yes, its from me and the CPP executives in TCC. MP-Tema Central: Why did you put such untrue statement out there. I have my office in C4 and I have been to the decease family. I have liaised with the mayor and the regional police commander. I even addressed the press so I want you to re-tract your statement from the press. Chairman CPP-TCC: Myself and my vice have been with the family of the deceased, we spoke to them and they confirmed the presence of only the police. You do not have an office in Tema. We also spoke with the former assemblyman in the area and he confirmed same. We also paid visit to the welder who was robbed with his friend at gun point and had confirmation from the citizen whose leg was shot in a separate robbery. You are not visible and not known within the constituency. As a legislator, we are yet to see you on the floor of parliament raising this issue. You are indeed incompetent. Yesterday, some shooting happened at Fort Hood and within a period of 15 -30, all involved authorities including the president of the US addressed the nation. MP-Tema Central: Dont compare Ghana to a developed country like the US. I want to come pick up now and take you around the authorities that were with me during my action and response. I will even take you to parliament tomorrow to find out what I have done on the issue so far. Chairman CPP-TCC: Hon. first of all, parliament is on recession. Secondly, what has development got to do with addressing and speaking to your constituents in such turbulent times. I am in the meeting now. I wish I could talk further but sorry.
