A photographers tale on how the Northern Lights came to be. How the Northern Lights Came To Be You see, the world was made by committee—the Father, Son and Holy Ghost; after land, sea, and air were designed, it came time for interior decorating. The three of them eventually got around to lighting. The sun moon and stars were evident, but there needed to be something else. The committee discussed LED lights but noted that such things would not be invented for 5 or 6 billion years and therefore were not suitable. The Holy Ghost—who by the way, is still the moving force behind all high fashion designers of our current age, both LGBT and straight, noted that a tiara might be in order. The Son thought it an idea of merit and the Father agreed. In fact the “crowning” touches were so significant that the heavenly procurement authority allowed for a sole source acquisition. This was a blessing because most of the universe was and still is put out to bid. The Father noted that he had a soul in his book of making by the name of Christian Dior that might be brought in for consult. Well the rest is history. Christian Dior designed the Aurora Borealis.
