How glorious to know that the burdens of this place will be no more the day we see Jesus face to face (to borrow a quote from the song There will be a day by Jeremy Camp). Of course we believe and expect God to answer our prayers, do amazing miracles, and give us grace to deal with hardships we will face in this world... but if he shall decide to tarry for reasons only known to himself, we can have joy in knowing that the moment we close our eyes on this earth and open them in the presence of our wonderful Savior, every wrong will be righted, every burden will be lifted, every problem eradicated, every bit of suffering taken away once and for all. I pray that this is a blessing and encouragement to all who see it and reveals to them (or reminds them) that our God is a good God, who loves us so much that he gave his one and only Son, the ultimate sacrifice, to bring us into right relationship with him and to open up the gates of heaven so we can not only know Him here on this earth, but to live with him forever in eternity ~MF
