A piece of Charleston history was made today. So far as I know, I was the first court sketch artist to sketch at the Federal Court in Charleston today (Let me know if that is not true). What a case on which to make my debut as a court sketch artist. I had FIVE minutes to draw Dorothy Lee Barnett, who was extradited this weekend from Australia, after kidnapping her child years ago and fleeing to Belize.
