A plaque commemorating the life and work of Nelson Mandela was revealed at a dedication ceremony before last night’s New York Yankees game. Mandela’s grandson Zondwa Mandela participated in the plaque’s unveiling. Mandela’s unwavering efforts and incredible contributions to South Africa (and to the world) will be celebrated on April 27, which marks the 20th anniversary of South Africa’s Freedom Day.
