A poem from a friend for anyone who may have been experiencing a strain on your entire system in these days of the eclipse, cardinal cross, solar flares, and everything else that is emptying us, and stretching us beyond our old selves. tanks degraded physically deflated yet smiling in the wake of the opportunity created empty and hollow not a thought in sight to follow yet there floats in the distance a fresh new breath to swallow where once there was a struggle an endlless array of muggle allowing emotions in the circus for someone else to juggle they have now been reclaimed and simultaneously tamed placed safely in a cage and strategically renamed “these may be yours” “but you are not them” “your roots run deep’ “and these are just stems” and so i am free free to be me free to practice all the things I was to blind to see compassion, gratitude, empathy and love are feelings that i now feel capable of i want to struggle, i want to fight but now without fear i know it will all be alright ~ Mariya MashaPie Ioffe
