For a special birthday treat for you. Id get wine from Californias Napa Valley, To go with the lobster from Maine... And from Portland and Seattle Id send the coolest mountain rain... Id get a yellow rose from Texas, And the eastern morning light... Diamonds that shine and sparkle From the big sky of a Montana night! A painting of the western sun set... The field of daisies on the Wyoming prairie, The gold of the wheat fields in Kansas as I pass them by... From the Smokies of North Carolina Id bring home made crafts... And from Nashville a Special song Straight from my heart... To wrap my gifts Id take The colors of the balloons Over Albuquerque, And make a ribbon from the Peaks of the Rockies in Colorado. These gifts and more Id bring to you, If I could only find the way.
