A poem to celebrate Spring. WHISPERINGS OF SPRING.© A poem by Caroline Street. The remnants of Winter slip away, a fragrant scent rises in the fading mist, dull gray and brown begins to fade - a new season is on its way. Sparkling glimpses of sunlight on unfurling leaves, a gentle breeze plays music to please, butterflies and birds are all about - their fleeting beauty they will tout. Whisperings of rebirth… a whole new bounty for the earth, young buds and blossoms herald Spring - new life and color will they bring, a palette of blue and purple shadows hides shyly in between. Rain, bearing rainbows soaking an accepting earth, golden grass and rusted leaves, now an emerald burst. Celebrating raindrops sparkle… color fragmenting, brilliant hues, this is total rebirth - Spring! ❤
