A political commentator says the Israeli regime is posing a bigger threat to the troubled Middle East region than the ISIL terrorists. Paul Larudee, with the Free Palestine movement from Berkeley, said in an interview with Press TV that the ISIL Takfiri militants were “no match” for Israel in committing crimes and atrocities. “ISIL has to go a very long way before it matches Israel in its atrocities,” the analyst stated. Te Israeli regime has killed and expelled nearly six million Palestinians in recent decades, Larudee stated, adding that “until now ISIL has not matched that record.” In its latest brutal offensive, the Israeli military unleashed aerial attacks on the besieged Gaza Strip in early July. Over 2,130 Palestinians, including around 570 children, lost their lives and some 11,000 were injured in the raids. The ISIL Takfiri terrorists currently control parts of Syria and Iraq. The ISIL terrorists have been committing heinous crimes in the captured areas, including mass executions and beheading of people. Elsewhere in his remarks, the commentator said the Tel Aviv regime assumes it can get away with destroying the al-Aqsa Mosque in East al-Quds. Israeli authorities are systematically acting to change the identity of East al-Quds (Jerusalem). Reports say the Israeli regime is planning to build a synagogue in the al-Aqsa Mosque compound as part of its efforts to further Judaize the occupied Palestinian territories. The analyst also censured the expansionist policies of the Tel Aviv regime despite international condemnation. Over the past years, Israel has been trying to change the demographic makeup of al-Quds by constructing illegal settlements, destroying historical sites, and expelling the local Palestinian population.
