A poll released this week from another firm, Public Policy Polling, had the race closer, with Davis up 39 percent to 37 percent with a 3.3 percent margin of error. That poll included Libertarian Keen Umbehr, who had 9 percent. The PPP poll said 55 percent of likely voters disapprove of Brownback’s performance as governor and that 41 percent of voters are not sure whether they have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of Davis.
