A portrait I didnt take: This morning on the trails, I came upon an old man in overalls. He was moving at a pretty impressive clip for his obviously advanced age, but I was moving faster, so eventually I had to overtake him. As I passed him, he said to me: Keep on truckin! I smiled and said, You too! After I passed him, he called out, Just wait until youre 90 years old! I turned around to face him, continuing to move backwards, Sir, if I look as good as you do when I am, that will make me extremely happy. He laughed. Ooooh, he said, that sounds like true love. I laughed back, turned around and kept on my way. Suddenly a young woman jogging with her golden retriever approached. I smiled at her, and she smiled back. After she passed me, and was about to pass the old man, he yelled at her, GO, GIRL! GO!! Did I mention I love people who can make me laugh, even when its early in the morning?
