A pretty little needlepoint stocking...just like everyone elses in the family. I so enjoy Christmas stockings, that I picked it out with your mother before your arrival. Its decorated with sweet little ice skaters and monogrammed with the name of an angel. I cannot leave it empty; Ive filled the others so lovingly. What to put in yours? Christmas wishes! I wish we could see you in the Christmas jammies that are still hanging in my closet, with your sleepy smile and your morning hair. I wish I could snuggle you cozily in the corner chair while the house begins to bustle. To see your little, excited but inexperienced hands attempt to open gifts like everyone else would only fall short of putting a Christmas bow on your pretty little head. Oh, how I wish...but its only one stocking and I must leave room for the next years wishes. Because, Little Love...there will always, always be wishes.
