A prevention of a peaceful vigil of unemployed Sahrawi group in Tan Tan / south of Morocco On 19, 2013 at approximately 23:45, the Moroccan authorities prevented the organization of a peaceful vigil by Saharawi unemployed with higher education before the headquarters of the Moroccan National University of Education which located on Avenue Hassan II Tan-Tan’s city in south of Morocco. This peaceful vigil came immediately after an announcement by the unemployed Saharawi with higher degrees in the town mentioned, on the order of events to commemorate the day of the unemployed that took place between the 16th and July 19, 2013 in Moroccan National Education University, under tight security from different Moroccan intelligence services. as reported by one of the unemployed Sahrawi, the venue where they organized these events had been surrounded by a large number of security forces equipped with the various tools of repression in order to intimidate the demonstrators which had been forced to reverse its decision to take to the streets in protest against the Moroccan state policy continues reflected in denial and exclusion of the right to work and employment guaranteed by the Constitution and laws Moroccan besides several international covenants signed and ratified by the Moroccan state. The unemployed Saharawis were chanting slogans such unions and humanitarian while leaving the headquarters they were operated by a group of police officers in plain clothes using severe bashing and insults under the supervision of the pasha of the city and the head of the safety zone to avoid that they might get out: - youtube/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=J8HzMYf4DUU - - youtube/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=AJLcSHtYn8A According to a group of unemployed Sahrawi with higher education this intervention caused the injuries of the following persons: - Rahal Mohammed, wounded on the shoulder - Mawloud Lagrah, injured in various parts of the body after being dragged. - Aws Ali was injured at face level, right leg and chest forcing him to leave the hospital Hassan II in that city. - Ahmed ba Allah wounded at the head and left leg. - Said Lwahban, wounded in different parts of the body. - Mohamed Zaini, wounded in different parts of the body. - Abdi Abd Allah, was dragged and kicked him in the legs. - Tahar Lamgaifri, suffers bruises in different parts of the body. - Bouchama Hassana, wounded at chest level besides being insulted in a degrading of human dignity. - Labihat Hamza, suffering bruises in different parts of the body. On the other hand one eyewitness reported on the fall of at least 4 cases of unconscious of unemployed women Sahrawi in Moroccan National University of Education as a consequence of this brutal intervention and reinforced police cordon. The executive bureau of the Collective of Sahrawi Human Rights Defenders CODESA states: - His absolute solidarity with the unemployed and victims of the Moroccan repression as well as any and all peaceful demonstrators demanding fair and legitimate rights guaranteed in the Constitution and the various Moroccan international charters and conventions pertaining to human rights. - Denouncing the continued prevention of peaceful vigils in the cities of Western Sahara and southern Morocco. - Claiming the Moroccan state to enter into a dialogue with the unemployed and meet their legitimate demands to which they are entitled, instead of continuing its policy of repression, deprivation and exclusion from the right to benefit from the jobs and wealth natural minerals and Western Sahara are depleted with uncontrollably way .
