A privately owned truck or trucks carrying rocks and soil have this afternoon spilt their load most probably due to an open tailgate. The material contains large rocks of around 200mm in size and are a potential hazard. The roads affected are westbound Church Avenue between the Freeway and Colo Vale and also northbound Wilson Drive between Colo Vale and Telopea Rd, Hill Top. A council road maintenance crew is in the area and has commenced clearing the debris. It is likely that a second council crew will need to also assist because the cleanup is quite substantial. Please slow down and take extreme care in the area until the cleanup is complete.
