A prophet holds no allegiance to any nation, flag or country, nor can he, for his voice must be one of complete separation, it must be a voice independent of other men. For he speaks what God would have him say, even at the risk of the majority. He bows to no King or queen or President, for he kneels only to God and his son. A prophets allegiance is to the word of God, and his pledge is to the cross. He neither honors creeds nor dogmas, save the truth of the word alone. A prophet stands solitary to any and all voices for his voice carries the word of God. A prophet cannot align himself with any political party, for he must keep himself pure from the seducing influence of any ideology or cause. For the prophet, it is impossible to break from these truths, for that is why God has established the role of prophet, for he represents the authority and voice of God to remind men to return to the cross.
