A proud 11 year old says: Mum, its okay if you post this on Facebook! :) I posted last week about my daughter and the bullying incident at school. The post was titled Quiet Doesnt Equal Weak. The school was notified on Friday of the bullying that was due to take place today toward a girl returning from an operation, and Grade 5 was spoken to on the matter. The teacher then called two girls to stand up who had shown the courage to go against what children were saying and speak up. One of them was Lucy. Today, Lucy has come home beaming from a card she has received from the girl who today returned from school. It reads: Dear Lucy, thank you so much for telling your mum about the bully. I really, really, really, appreciate it. You are my life saver. If it werent for you, on Monday I would probably be curled up in a corner crying. Thank you so much. One proud child, one very satisfied mother. Girls, life is not about what you do or who you know, but about the people that you choose to be. You are choosing well. You are choosing love.
