A public announcement. There will be an informational meeting held at the Savannah library this Tuesday, January 20th at 2:00. The meeting is to educate about a new in-home physical therapy program through Performance Plus Rehabilitation Center for seniors who are NOT homebound. Through this program, physical therapists are serving seniors who are suffering with poor balance, weakness, back/neck/joint pain, Parkinsons, or neuropathy. Performance is also helping folks who are recovering from a stroke or a joint replacement surgery, and those who are simply struggling with routine activities required in maintaining independence. Unlike in the past, seniors do not need to be deemed homebound in order to receive this in-home service. Also, very importantly, patients under Medicare incur no cost. Make plans to attend if only to better understand your therapy benefits. The meeting will be led by Diane (Esely) Gould.
