A pup named Harry ( Kathryn Fryer) a Champ called Forest. Viv Coulter Claire Graham Id never met or really knew of Collooney dogs before I got my boy what I did do is go to some whippet shows and watch. One day I asked Kerry Eades who Id met before I started showing who the Collooney woman was? I spoke to Claire and enquired about a pup I said I want a solid colour male who I wouldnt be embarrassed to take to champ shows Sometime later I received a call from Viv they had a dog no one wanted and if I wanted I had to go and get ASAP. So the day before New Years ever I caught a flight to Belfast with my carry crate. Jumped in a cab to vivs house, when we got there it was pink should have known then not to get involved lol, I said to the driver no this cant be it shes loads of dogs , he said thats it for sure. As I walked in I thought Id landed in whippet heaven.... Before I left Viv said to me not sure what hell do but hes nice hes sound and youll have so much fun She was true to her word its been everything I could dream of. Vivs a fair lady and will sell good dogs to good people dont expect loads of praise but I know inside shes a big soft lump!!!! So one ferry 2 trains later we were home. My first thoughts were he didnt have much personality o how wrong was I hes a loonie through and through. The rest is history..... Im still learning this game but any advice Id give to anyone like me is if youve a half decent dog dont give up Ever!!!! And just thank you all at Collooney xxxx
