A question a prospective client asked me What kind of diet do - TopicsExpress

A question a prospective client asked me What kind of diet do you believe in I always find it strange, but with all the borderline religious zealotry people attach to good/bad foods and ways of eating, theres an assumption that one must believe in a singular way of consuming food This was my abridged answer: The diet I believe in is whatever works best in the context of the goal. There are a lot things that can work, whats most optimal depends on multiple factors, and what works at one time may not work at another time. I always spend 2-3 weeks troubleshooting daily food intake before I ever make significant changes to add up or cut down My dietary principles are as follows 1. Energetic health-does this diet provide you with energy throughout the day, do you recover well on this diet? 2. Nutritional comprehension-does the diet fulfill all your macro and micronutrient needs? 3. Sustainability-is the diet adaptable in the short and long term? Is it compatible with lifestyle, budget, etc? The above can be very straightforward or get very very detailed. Everyone is different, and I generally start everyone from center as much as possible, and then adjust from there. Its a continuous learning process, and you get better at it the longer you work with someone. Like most things in this realm, its an it depends, and try it and see situation #elitefts #mountaindogdiet
