A question for all - I am playing the first of the After Noon - TopicsExpress

A question for all - I am playing the first of the After Noon Concert Series concerts at the University Chapel this season (one of the concerts which will be broadcast on WWFM), and this year that first concert falls on September 11. Should I: 1) Acknowledge the date by playing a program of music that (hopefully) moves from despair to hope? 2) Play just one piece that acknowledges the date, but otherwise play a generally diverse program, including celebratory music? 3) Play a generally diverse program, with no reference to the date? I know what Im leaning towards, but I am really interested in whether we (as a society, as a nation) will/should continue to pay homage to that date. What are your thoughts?
