A question for the poets (a gem for the music lovers):https://youtube/watch?v=vbThC9Dt1BQ is narrative poetry still relevant? Im not talking on the grand scale of Homer though there has been recent translations but I mean a narrative like in that song - perhaps Ive watched too many Westerns but I can see every frame when listening to that. I am aware that one of poetrys major strengths is to reveal something in a way the reader/listener may never had considered before, yet has it distanced itself from simple yet descriptive and entertaining narrative? After all, Odysseus is still with all of us.
