A question from Cecilia Ma: > Dear Karen, Ms. Karen Chung is currently out of the country and so Im answering the questions. > I am often called on to do interpretation for my boss and I would like to know if there are more ways to say some sentences. Like: 我想知道....我想請教....I am fed up with I would like to know...I am curious... (and I am *not sure* if its polite to say so) Ill say Im (or I was) wondering ... (+ relative clauses) or Can you give me more/some information about.... > And 強調 , is there another way or better way to say instead of emphasize on? How about to stress? >And how would you say 重視? (台灣人喜歡說 我們最重視....) For 我們十分重視, Ill say We highly value. > Best, > Cecilia When Ms. Chung is back, she might be able to provide more useful suggestions. Take care! Sophie Weng
