A question from a member. Please help. Today I was in a great deal of pain, more joint pain than anything and I hadnt taken a pain pill all day, my mom suggested I did (my mom is anti-med unless you absolutely need it), but I didnt want to after my last hospital stay a doctor pretty much started talking to me about addiction and basically saying Im an addict and refused to give me anything stronger because the pain meds I was getting was not working. So today when I was in pain, I didnt want to take anything because some stupid doctor called me an addict and didnt know my story or look at any of the diseases I have. Which I have lupus, lupus nephritis, vasculitis, hypothyroidism, Nash of liver and autoimmune hepatitis of liver, pericarditis (inflammation of heart), rheumatoid arthritis, high blood pressure and high heart rate which causes shortness of breath, depression, and anxiety. I was in the hospital for shortness of breath, high heart rate, and chest pain. And by the doctor pretty much calling me an addict, I got upset, and had an anxiety attack keep in mind that Im already in there for shortness of breath so that wasnt good. I am only 19 years old and on the outside I look healthy but on the inside my body is far from it. Hence the word invisible illness or chronic illness meaning all the time! I swear some people/doctors really irritate me. Does anyone else have this issue? Its extremely upsetting being accused of things when Im far from it! Hope the cold weather isnt bothering everyone too much!
