A question from the Yahoo group: Can you explain the meaning of past sins and Gods forbearance in Romans 3:25 and without sin unto salvation in Hebrews 9:28? (Some people interpret these phrases as teaching Christ paid for sin in A.D. 33. I believe the Bible teaches that Christ paid for sin before the foundation of the world, but I do not understand the aforementioned parts of these verses.) Thank you. Romans 3:25: Whom God hath set forth [to be] a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; Hebrews 9:28: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
