A question often arises in my mind why Karnatak Sangh, Mumbai should show such step brotherly treatment to Konkani language when Konkani people have contributed so much to development of Kannada language and literature. There are so many that it needs no special references. It is understandable that relationship with Marathi is required to strengthened since Karnataka Sangh is situated in Mumbai and needs to maintain good relationship with Maharashtrians and Govt. Of Maharashtra. It is also understanble that Tulu language and culture should be encouraged since Tulu peoples have made contribution. But why this neglect of Konkani Language and culture. Are the office bearers would think of this injustice ?
