A question on Quora : Does the current generation of Kashmiri Pandit youngsters (teens and people in their 20s) want to relocate back to Kashmir? Answer given by a young kp. Me personally would love to!! But at the same time career opportunities being so thin out there creates an issue! Although calling Kashmir a place from where I belong, and actually going there in holidays, and making a family there would be pretty amazing too!! People always say, bhai mai Chutti me gaon ja rha hun, Tera gaon kahan hai? I wish desperately that the answer to this question for Kashmiri Pandits was Kashmir and not Dehradun, Delhi, Jammu etc! Admin : whether we live in usa or kerala or jammu we will be called kps or kashmiri hindus only. Bina homeland ke apni country me hona kya hota hai, we know the pain :( But seeing the condition of kashmir, separatism, terrorism, muslim bigotry it seems we would remain out of kashmir forever. Join us on 18th january to protest loud and clear.. let the govt take us very seriously. Because kashmir is india.. it belongs to all.
