A question struck me today, if Jesus comes now, how ready am I? Nobody knows when the times coming exactly, it would be like the time of Noah, and the time of Lot (Luke 17:26-29); while people are still drinking, eating, and doing their things, it comes like a thief. Even so, we can still see Gods kindness through how He tries to help us--in Noahs time, he told Noah to build the ark; other people saw the ridiculous giant ark, but no body believed that it would rain and destroy all things because it has never happened before(Gen 6). In Lots time, God sent angles to save Lot from Sodom; when he hesitated, the angles grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and daughters and led them safely out of the city (Gen 19). There will be signs for the end of the age (Matt 24), but we need to keep watch and be ready, or else we would be like the people that didnt get on the ark, or like Lots other family members that didnt believe, and got destroyed in the end. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. Matt 24:41 Yesterday during the Bible study Bryan mentioned this verse, and this morning it occurred to me again unexpectedly (it scared me). Though this message has been around for so long, taught and read by so many churches, and nothing has happened yet; but I still think it is important. I get caught up by school, projects, and even friends so easily every time, forgetting that only one thing is needful (Luke 10:41-42). Happily, we are already saved through Jesus by Gods grace, but we need to build the relationship with Him, because its going to be quite a long time (eternity) that were going to spend with God in heaven after we die. So heres a simple prayer: Dear Father, I repent for all my sins, and I ask for Jesus blood to cover me. Thank you for calling me a friend, and loving me so much beyond my imagination. Show me your ways, and be with me on everything I do. Fill me with your holy spirit, that I will live my life to glorify you. I want to know you more! In Jesus Name Amen!
