A quick and scary reminder this afternoon about how easily and quickly tragedies can happen. While I was milking, our just turned 2yo Cameron was happily playing around where he always does, when I glanced out from the shed and noticed all the cows pushing towards one side of the yard. I went out to find out what was going on and found that Cameron had pulled open the trap door on the grain silo and it was running out everywhere. He was underneath it!! No injuries, but couldve been tragic had I not noticed the cows wanting the grain. He was completely covered and very scared, but is fine.
