A quick burst of snow Friday morning will result in an inch or two of accumulation across much of the region. The main concerns are that this snow will occur during part of the am rush hour, at least occur across interior MA and Northern CT. In addition, cold road surfaces will allow the snow to accumulate immediately. The other concern is the expected strong to damaging winds along the coast on Friday. The strongest winds are expected across the Cape and Islands, where high wind warnings are posted for the potential for gusts up to 65 mph.
