A quick, hot filling and healthy breakfast. How to Make Hot Oatmeal Cereal 3 cups water 2 cups rolled oats (old fashion is best, but instant works just fine) 1 tbs vegan butter or margarine (optional) 1/8 tsp salt (optional but it really makes the flavor of the oats pop) Heat water, margarine and salt in a medium large saucepan until boiling Lower heat and add oats Stir until most of the liquid is absorbed. Should take about 5 minutes or less Serve hot. Makes three one cup servings. Be sure to put water in the pan after you empty it to ensure easy clean up.
