A quick post on general subjects, in honor of misinformation and mythology, and inspired by my reading that Harry Potter died this day (and by my hatred of Elron, and the evolutionary insights of Dobbie and the War with the Chtorr). In light of Theodosius Dobzhanskys definition of (micro)evolution as a change in the frequency of alleles (forms of genes) the most successful man in history was either the alleged Afrabasian Adam who lived circa 35 millennia ago, or, more likely, the Ur father of approximately a seventh of the East Asian Pop, Poppa Genghis, (whom I hallucinated Yahweh told me is his last son) who also qualifies a general, state maker, and technological globalizer, the last Lord of the Horde of Hosts and first gunpowder emperor. The only people who compare with him loss out completely in the reproductive department. I suspect Mohammad was impotent, but, aside from lacking gunpowder, given his mimetic success, he beats Genghis is the long run, there being a billion and a half people infected with his emotional plague whose religion teaches they should clone Mo in their minds. But he has some real competition. Harry Potter is arguably the most successful human meme, given what he has accomplished in terms of sales in his brief existence. Extrapolating, by the third century after Ford, there could be a hundred billion people on earth, half of whom worship Harry Potter. The only other competition Mo and Harry have is Elron, who died today, but doesnt deserve a memorial, so I will save him for a few days until I came to the anniversary of the day I learned he DID NOT get to heaven!
