A quick reminder that Montanas late registration/early voting locations close at noon on Monday. New registrants can register and current registrants can vote early at their county elections office (or other designated voting location) from 8 a.m. to noon on Monday. Absentee ballots can be dropped off on Monday afternoon, but no new ballots will be issued at that time. Same-day registration locations open at 7 a.m. on Election Day and close at 8 p.m. along with polling locations (note: some small, rural polling locations dont open until noon). Any outstanding absentee ballots can be dropped off either at the county elections office or the voters polling location up until 8 p.m. on Election night. All absentee ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day. Elections offices do not accept a post-marked date.
