A random test of my Facebook social world this Friday afternoon: how would you vote next Thursday on the independence referendum if you were a resident of Scotland? (Or if you actually are a resident of Scotland, how will you vote?) My suspicion is that the number of people I know who would vote No outnumber those who would vote Yes by a factor of more than 30 to 1. (Both sides will likely be outnumbered by all those who havent thought about it enough, cant decide, dont feel its their place to have an opinion, or simply dont care, but Im not asking for any of those folks to speak up.)
