A rather full on 24 hours for me. Before I tell the story I want to say Im fine and well. Yesterday I had a shower and after it I could feel water in my ear and it felt completely blocked. I was deaf in one ear! OK for a while then I started getting very dizzy, disoriented sweaty and nauseous with the sound of my pulse beating in my right ear.. A bit of a heavy sensation in my chest prompted me to call the ambulance and they promptly stuck a needle in my hand and raced on down to Emergency. Several blood tests, investigation chest Xray and lots of poking prodding and result in a probable cause being a middle ear problem caused by would you believe it....an earwax buildup in the ear canal. This caused vertigo and probably a bit of anxiety. So end result, to be safe I am booked in for a Stress and profusion heart test next Wednesday. At the moment it is looking like there was no heart issue. I want to post this on FB mainly in order to thank the great staff at Canberra Hospital and the ambulance folk. They were all reassuring, efficient and very very supportive. I spent the night in the cardiac ward and everyone was 100% there for me. Thank you. So to finalise. Im fine people and thank you all for your support
