A reader asks . First hi Im new to this page and from PA. I have three boys age 12 and 3 year old twins. My 12 year old was diagnosed with ADHD, ODD and an adjustment disorder at 4 and is now being re evaluated for Aspergers. My twins have been receiving services for a speech delay. developmental delays and sensory issues and today we went for an eval for a BSE and TSS The Dr. who perormed the eval said he surely thinks my twins fall in the spectrum somewhere but since we have upcoming appointment with Autism specialist he would let them make final call. My husband (their Bio dad) is either in denial or cant see a problem with them and thinks I am making a mountain out of a mole hill they say maybe 6 words total. his family is also NO support to me at all or the boys my MIL has actually told me to not give them food or drinks until they ask for them. Any advice how to make this easier for me I dont really care if they ever come to terms with it as I am their mother and will continue to fight for them but it does make it hard for me to live married to a man who sees no problem and his family doesnt either
