A reader asks; My 2.5 yo was just diagnosed with poly idiopathic juvenile arthritis.if any of you have gone through this nightmare & found a more natural treatment THAT. WORKED, Wed LOVE to hear about it. The thought of me having to inject my baby with methotrexate once a week & give her four other meds on top of that makes me want to check out. I just know there has to be another way. We have been researching & the McDougall diet seems like a possible much better option, but Im wondering if anyone here has effectively used this to treat JIA, and if so, how did you get your two/three yo to switch from a healthy,just regular organic diet to a gluten free, vegan diet? Im very freaked out by all of this. Ill do anything to help alleviate her pain, but Id prefer she have a fully functional liver when its all said and done as well..... Tia.
