A reader asks My 5 year old son is currently going through an assesment for asperges syndrome. He shows alot of traits of this but recently has started something new. He has started almost compulsively clearing his throte and has started shouting out random letters and talking to himself, but only words such as what and yeah. Me and his father are beginning to get extreamly concerned. Also me and his dad have split, but he goes to his dads twice a week as he has done for years and his dad says when hes there hes very anxious and stressed and keeps saying somebody is trying to hurt me, he is very protectice over me and is getting himself overly worried about me, I try reassuring him I am ok but this isnt helping, its getting to the point where he wont sleep and his appitite has decreased dramitically. Can anybody please help or relate? Thank you.
