A reader asks My Son will be 3 years old in January. He has been diagnosed for now with social communicative delay.. They are hesitating & not ready to officially diagnose autism at this point. For the past 15 nights he has been waking up spot on at 3am, wide awake untill gone 6/7am. He wonders, plays, sometimes just lays down.. Sometimes gets very agitated. He hasnt done this in over a year now & Im not sure what to do. He is a very happy content little boy & is on verbal but communicates by pointing or pulling me. He has calmed down very much over the past 4/5 months in terms of tantrums and behaviour. I would really appreciate any advice on how to cope & deal with this latest turn.
