A reader asks for your advice: My question is this: I had been divorced 9 years, my best friend was a guy who was married. We have had feelings for each other that past few years which neither of us acted on. Throughout our friendship he mentioned he wanted a divorce I convinced him to stay since they had been married 22 years, he asked her for a divorce in May and moved out that day and told me he couldnt do it anymore that he had tried.. Divorce was final June 19 and we got married June 21 which is fast. They were young when they married she was 15 and he was 16. Anyways he paid her rent for may and June left power and utilities in his name those two months as well because she said she would pay them. The money he gave her for rent she used elsewhere and the bills she didnt pay well she paid most of power but not uverse but told him if he pays it she will pay or back (before he knew about her not paying rent). I used my credit card paid it and she agreed to pay me back but its been months and months I confronted her the day before Halloween and she said her attorney told her not to pay me. We have text messages where she says she will pay. Her car is in his name he is court ordered to pay half for one year and her attorney told her she can be late on that too up to 30 days, we pay her half until she pays but Im so angry at her because she used me. She has taking thousands if dollars from him to give to her parents who dont work, he has had to change banks accounts many times... We see an attorney today... Any advice appreciated
