A reader commented that, due to our hate-filled attitude toward our brothers and sisters at the American Family Association, we Unfundamentalist Christians are just as bad as the AFA. UC founder John Shore responded: No, were not. Because unlike the endlessly gay-bashing AFA, we dont perpetuate and traffic in human misery. And yes, we DO oppose the AFA, and all groups that, in the name of Christ, hate and harm others. Its called defending the oppressed. Its what Christians are supposed to do.
