A reader would like your advice. My fellow Mamalettes, I would like to know if I am being too sensitive. I have been married for over 2 years now with a child and another one on the way. Before I got married I did not notice that my husband has an unsual habit of always using the toilet. Sometimes we will be on our way out of the house or going to a function, he will suddenly turn back to use the toilet. While this is not an issue in itself, the habit I seem to dislike the most is him using the toilet and leaving the door open for me to smell everything going on in there. I got extra sensitive about this issue since I became pregnant as my sense of smell is even stronger than before. He has since started closing the door. Now the next issue I am struggling to deal with is the way he talks about going to the toilet, using words like shit, yansh etc. which I find vulgar. I also dont like it when Im on the phone with him and he tells me that he is on the toilet seat at the moment. I dont know if I am being overly sensitive but I find myself being less attracted to him because of this. I am just not comfortable with people discussing or announcing their bodily functions. I feel this is private and should not even be a topic of discussion. Sorry for the long post, but Mamalettes please tell me am I right? or am I being too sensitive?
