A really good video explaining why leading places like Whole Foods and Chipotle lie about Humanely raising their cows and chickens. We need to understand that humane slaughter is not a real. It is only another marketing tactic to get consumers into thinking they care about how their food is being treated when in reality there is no humane way of castrating a pig, debeaking a chicken, shoving them into gas chambers or repeated electrocution followed by slitting of the throat. It is frightening how this way of marketing is catching on quickly when it is all based on lies. Killing is not an act of compassion.. how would you like to be humanely raised (diseased, starving, dehydrated) all while having the owner know the time of your death?
