A really worthwhile read for organizers, strategists, and people interested in the dynamics of mass nonviolent social change. I continue to appreciate the distinction between the structure schools of organizing and the momentum approaches. My main personal experience with a more structure-based model that focused pretty heavily on winnable campaigns was in Green Corps. Im curious what folk with more experience of the structure-based advocacy-organizing model make of this article - folk like Navin Nayak, Annie Sanders, Sam Landenwitsch, Jesse Littlewood, Annie Weinberg, Kerry Schumann, for instance. Also curious what NVDA/momentum organizers or people who bridge the models might have to say - looking at Sofia Campos, Daniel Hunter, Nadine Bloch, Zack Hershman, Nelini Stamp, Philippe Duhamel, Liz Butler, Joshua Kahn Russell, Alia Trindle to name a few...
