A recent conversation between my husband and my curious 7-year-old neighbor went something like this: 7 y.o.: So, what did they do to Mrs. Farnsworth? Todd: Well, they inserted a metal plate with screws inside her neck. 7 y.o.: Does she always have to have them? Todd: Yes, she does. 7 y.o.: Even when she goes to heaven? Todd: Well, they will stay in the ground with her body when she goes to heaven. 7 y.o.: Hmmm...well, I guess we can always find her with a metal detector if we need to. Todd: (refraining from bursts of laughter), Yes, buddy, I guess we can.
