A recent poll shows that over 51% would blame Republicans for a government shutdown will around 1/3 would blame the president. The percentage blaming Repubs is up from 40% earlier this year. If the debt ceiling is not raised 54% would blame Republicans while only a quarter would blame the president. The Tea Party keeps leading the rest of the Republican party leadership by the nose and down a path of pretty obvious political destruction. I hope those nose rings stay in place until next November.
