A recent post from Michael Wilhelm: Because I have to carry oxygen cylinders with me, I am limited to playing gigs within driving distance. There are however battery powered portable oxygen concentrators which can supply oxygen from a machine the size of a small lunchbox. This makes it possible to travel on airliners and trains as well as be freed from carrying around a supply of oxygen in metal cylinders. Problem is they cost $3k or more and we dont have the money to purchase. The VA cant buy one for me so I cant tour in the states or abroad until I have one, or preferably two to have a spare, just in case. It has put a huge crimp in my ability to earn money which we desperately need.
