A recent thread by a friend concerning accreditation of colleges - TopicsExpress

A recent thread by a friend concerning accreditation of colleges came to my thoughts this morning. It was not my choice to attend bible college or Christian school for that matter. If you dare to believe, it was put upon me by that “Still Small Voice. No one has ever boasted of an acclaimed A.C.E. diploma, and the job market is not impressed by my HAC Pastoral Assistant degree. The truth is I’m not impressed by them either. Rather, I am humbled. Humbled that the Lord would allow me to follow a course which has been littered with blessings. Somewhere along the way it came into my mind that God had a peculiar purpose for my life. Attending HAC was humbling for a little country boy from Trace Creek. Though the college failed to give me an accredited degree it helped to give me a life which I never imagined for myself. I know this makes me odd, but not really. My wife and kids are genuinely happy as our lives have meshed in serving The Lord. Yea, we all tote KJV Bibles and my kids believe that’s the one. They also believe there is only one Elsa, only one Ironman(almost forgot Tony Stark made replicants), but you get the picture. We dont all dress the same or anything, but love the variety of people we get to serve in the ministry. The lack of a real world education has not hindered our household much. Maybe my wife and I should’ve had a stronger lesson on child prevention, but then there may not be a Luke Bradley in the world. Before we ramble let me say that so far the hardest thing in the life that Jessica and I share has been keeping up with family pictures.
