A reflection on May & June. I got sick, real sick, mid way through May. It forced me to take a step back and reassess where I was going and what I as doing and if it was beneficial to my career and health. I made the choice to cancel shows through June and take 4 weeks out, This weekend was my first tentative baby steps back in, and although marvelous gigs, I am exhausted and I know I have a long way to get back to recovery. NYC Pride at BPM New York was amazing and Hero Tea Dance in San francisco was everything and more. I rested up. I got sleep and i got to see friends. And thats what matters.To me.
