A relationship between a mother and a daughter can be oh so very complex because the daughter looks to her mother as a role model of what a woman is. The light of my eyes, my angel. As she grows up and sees other woman who live their lives differently, she chooses between imitating her mother or other significant influences in her life. Even then Noone compared to you. As an adolescent she may come to look down on her mother and think that other woman are much better. I never understood and because of this we grew apart.. Of course she is not a fully grown woman so she does not understand the challenges and choices that her mother faces. It is only when she herself becomes a woman that she can fully appreciate her mother. Now I understand no matter whos right or wrong it is my purpose to take care of you the way you so delicately did with me as a little girl. Life throws curve balls at us though we may not understand but because of this not only have we become closer but you have become my best friend. I want you to know you still are my angel and Ive never loved anyone as much as I love you. I dont know if I will ever get married but I do know this, I dont care if your 40, 50, or 90 I will always be here to take care of you.. Til death do us part. I love you mom. Happy birthday
